Wholehearted Mission - Statement of Faith
-
We Believe the Bible to be the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. - 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

-
We Believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. - John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7

-
We believe that God sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to be crucified as payment for the sins of the world. - John 3:16-17

-
We believe that Jesus Christ, tempted by Satan, conquered death and rose from the grave on the third day before ascending to his rightful place in heaven at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. – 1 Corinthians 15

-
We believe that through Jesus Christ we can have a personal relationship with God the Father, in which the divine power of the Holy Spirit lives within us. - Ephesians 2:8-10

-
We believe all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and through the forgiveness and blood of Jesus, we can be saved and have eternal life with Him in heaven. - Romans 3:23-24; Romans 5:1-3

-
We believe that man is created in the image of God but separated from God by sin. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God. - Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5

-
We believe that sanctification is the ongoing process of allowing God’s character to be developed in us. - Galatians 5:22-25

-
We believe hell is a place of suffering and a place of permanent and eternal separation from God, for those who die without accepting Christ. God’s desire is that no one be separated from Him for eternity, which is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth. - Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:12-15; John 3:16-18

-
We believe God is Love and He loves all people, and he has commanded us to do the same. It is His desire to reach out to those who are poor, oppressed, widowed or orphaned, and to heal the brokenhearted. - Psalm 68:5,6; 1 John 4:7-21

-
We believe God gives all believers spiritual gifts. They are for the strengthening of God’s people (the Church) and proof of God’s existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit are active and relevant today. People are given different gifts, in order to strengthen the Unity of the Body of Christ through the diversity of believers. - 1 Corinthians 12:4-31; 1 Peter 4:10

-
We believe that Jesus will one day return and take all those who have accepted Him as Savior to be with Him for eternity. - Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 9:28
