Kayla Lee - Dreamer/Founder and President
Hello dear friends, my name is Kayla and I am the creative dreamer & founder of WHM!
This dream was placed on my heart early in my life, and I've had it longer than I can remember. Things really began a little over three years ago through many consistent thoughts, prayers, conversations and connecting with very trusted and talented individuals. The dream became a reality.
This journey has been a process of my own learning, growing and becoming the person God made me to be! My heart is for women to see and realize their true worth in who they are and who they're created to be. The hope and prayer is for them to have freedom and confidence to pursue their dreams, no matter what obstacles they face. I look forward with excitement for the opportunity to pursue this God-sized dream and watch the story unfold.
I would not be where I am today without Jesus; the amazing support of my husband Jonathan who cheers me on and does more than anyone realizes "behind the scenes;" and the very gifted team in place who has gone the extra mile with class and supportive, generous hearts.
You can find me behind the camera capturing special moments, singing and dancing to hip-hop, day dreaming about the ocean, having a good laugh with friends, and enjoying cycling, candy and Chai tea!
Tami Crist - Vice President

I lived too much of my life without the boldness and confidence that God gives me! The vision behind Wholehearted to come alongside women who need to know and understand that freedom, boldness and confidence that God has for them is very real to me. I want all women to understand how precious they are to God and if I can come alongside someone in whatever situation or struggle they are in and help them to know God’s love, I want to be available to make that happen.
Kayla’s dream and vision for Wholehearted is transformational. Her confidence to step out in areas that God has called her without knowing exactly where that is going to take her is so inspiring. Her love for others has helped me to see how simple acts of encouragement and self-sacrifice can make such a difference in someone’s life. Wholehearted is a God-sized dream and I am excited to be on this journey with Kayla and the rest of the team to see where God takes us!
Cambria Larson- Secretary
Cambria is part of WHM because she saw the God given passion and drive of her friend Kayla and wanted to support her.
Finding a purposeful avenue for Cambria's skills outside the home was really important to her transition to being a stay-at-home parent. She hopes to encourage other women going through big life changes to see their value not just in what they do or achieve, but in who they are in Christ.
Cambria has more than eight years experience working on staff for small non-profit organizations and is enjoying transitioning to role of volunteer board member.
Her passion is theater and dance so when she's not busy wrangling 3 kids, you might find her stage managing a local production at Theatre B or watching/creating some dance piece.
Addy Erickson - Treasurer
Hello! I’m Addy Erickson and I am married to my best friend, Isaac. We have a lab puppy named Lucille, and a baby due in January 2022!
In my free time, I like to be at the lake reading, fishing, or doing a sudoku puzzle. Also, my favorite drink is Egg Nog!
I am a part of Wholehearted because the Lord has changed my life and given me hope – I want to be part of encouraging women and families to seek after Jesus in every season of life, because He is worth it.
Casey Hatlevoll - Director
When I first came to know Christ, it was because of those who loved me enough to share Him with me. As I’ve decided to trust in and follow Him, friends and mentors have taught, encouraged, sharpened, and comforted me through all kinds of joys and trials. They continue to bring me back to the faith I profess and the hope I have only in Jesus. They direct me to what is important, to what lasts through eternity.
As a single woman who desires marriage and a family of my own, it is easy to adopt the world’s narrative that I am alone, that I’m on my own-especially when my life circumstances are painful. But, if I ask God to give me perspective, I am able to see how, and who, He has provided for me in the past. I notice who He has given to walk alongside me in the present, and this gives me assurance that he will provide who and what I need to navigate my future. I pray that all women have this same hope and confidence, and that is why I am grateful to be a part of Wholehearted Mission.
WHM seeks to come alongside women whose circumstances would make it easy for them to believe they’re on their own in this world. May God continue to use this vision to bring support, comfort, courage, and strength in even the most challenging trials that these women are and will be facing. May God use WHM to plant an unshakeable hope in their hearts that stands forever.
Erin Telander - Director
Erin is a mental health nurse, serving Veterans at the Fargo VA Health Care System. She loves learning, growing, music, the outdoors, and connecting over coffee.
Erin is a part of WHM because she is passionate about adding value to others by empowering and encouraging them on their journey to becoming who they were created to be.
Haley van der Ploeg - Director
Hallo! My name is Haley van der Ploeg. I live part-time in the States and part-time in the Netherlands.
My life’s passions include baking, traveling, spending time with my family, and learning to be more like Jesus (and boy that’s a long process!).
I am a part of Wholehearted Mission because I want to help women find true freedom, which I believe comes through relationship with Christ.
Wholehearted Mission meets women where they’re at, coming alongside them to give encouragement, support, and love, while teaching them about their worth in Christ. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?!
